The Wausau Free Clinic is a ministry of First Presbyterian Church. Our mission is to offer primary care services to low income, uninsured people from the Wausau and Marathon County area through highly qualified but unpaid medical volunteers. All services are provided at no cost to the recipient.

Wausau Area Mobile Meals is a small non-profit 501 (c)(3) organization dedicated to serving the elderly, convalescing, and disabled members of the greater Wausau Area. We deliver approximately 27,000 meals annually.
The Neighbors’ Place is a proud partner agency of Feeding America and a USDA Commodities food pantry. Our Market provides healthy food to those in need in a warm and welcoming environment. In addition to addressing food insecurity, we offer opportunities for community engagement through workshops, fiber arts, and our bike program.
The Babies’ Place is a Diaper Bank and member of the National Diaper Bank Network. As a leading authority on diaper need in NC WI, we work to build strong families and communities by providing diapers, baby hygiene products and addressing period poverty.
The mission of NCCAP is to act as an advocate, provider, and facilitator of programs and services for low-income individuals in Lincoln, Marathon, and Wood Counties (WI). NCCAP seeks to create opportunities for people and communities to obtain skills, identify and utilize resources, and explore innovative options necessary to reduce poverty and increase self-sufficiency.
Marathon County provides a variety of services and resources to help individuals and families achieve self-sufficiency.
We are a tri-county organization that serves a variety of patients, clients and residents. Our services are focused on mental health care, addiction and substance abuse treatment, developmental disabilities care and skilled nursing care, but we also offer adult protective services, aquatic physical therapy and several community-based programs to support our community.
